Kevin has always been on the creative side of life. Whether it was performing on piano, in theater, making wine or singing, performing and creating has been his guiding force.
He started out wanting to be a gigging jazz pianist in New York City in the mid to late 70s. He studied with Lennie Tristano and worked numerous gigs in the New York metro area until relocating to NH in the mid 1980s. Kevin transitioned into the wine business initially working for a number of international wineries such as Codorniu, Marques de Riscal and Marques de Murrieta before starting his own winery with his wife Barbara in 1997. Their winery, R&B Cellars, produced wines that garnered international acclaim and after several years they decided to relocate on the west coast. After relocating, Kevin decided to get back to some of his roots that included singing and joined the San Francisco Bay Area Chamber Choir. He and Barbara have sung with SFBACC since 2004 and in 2018 he joined Livermore Valley Opera in their production of “Ballo en Maschera” This was his first opera and ignited a new passion that he has pursued ever since.
